This is Chacabuco, Chile, in the middle of the Atacama desert.

Now a ghost town, once a nitrate mining town, then a Pinochet detention camp in the early 70’s after a military coup… it can be found in the middle of the Atacama desert off the PanAmerican Highway 5 in Antofagasta.
