When you visit Reykavik, don’t miss the most famous landmark of the country, the “Sun Voyager” or “Sólfar” sculpture by the sea, sculpted by Jón Gunnar Árnason in 1986.
It looks like a Viking boat, but actually it is a dream boat and ode to the Sun.
They say you can see the sun reflecting in the stainless steel of the sculpture.
The Sun? there was none that day of April when I was there, but maybe it does help bringing it once in a while 🙂
