The Svartifoss waterfall lays in the Skaftafell conservation area in the Vatnajökull National Park. It falls majestically on dark lava columns and is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. Its beauty inspired the architect that built the Hallgrímskirkja church in Reykjavik.
