I really wanted to visit the Sagano Bamboo Forest in Arashiyama, Japan. I could already see myself wandering alone between the bamboos… but could I really expect this from the most famous destination in Kyoto?
Imagination vs. Reality… it was full of tourists. I should have arrived there early in the morning.
I stood in one spot, waited for people to pass by, for those few seconds where there was actually about no one on the path… and I shot. For those little moments, I felt exactly what I was looking for.
My pictures of the Sagano Bamboo Grove:
Les photos ont un côté très poétique. Elles traduisent vraiment bien le calme et le zen
Oui en fait, c’est très calme, car c’est bourré de touristes. …..?
