Portugal: see the impressive iberian lynx trash art in Lisbon


Since the Summer of 2019, you can admire a sculpture of an iberian lynx in Lisbon, made by Artur Bordalo, known as Bordalo II. It is fully made of recycle material.

Yes, it’s a multicolored statue constructed purely from waste! it represents the iberian lynx, the elusive and endangered feline of the peninsula. It is part of the artist’s collection of “big trash animals”, bringing awareness on climate change. I think the idea is genius ! It is located at the Parque das Nações (Park of Nations, World Expo Park).
