The lake Ohrid offers relaxing moments and the views by the lake are absolutely stunning!
From tiny to bigger churches in its old quarter, the town of Ohrid is a lovely place to spend a few days during cooler days, escaping the crowds of the Summer. Some call it the Jerusalem of the Balkans and it is definitely worth a visit. Winter days are fresh but warm under the sun.
The pictures below have been taken in a month of December, during a trip with my Mom.
The Ohrid region is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
