I have been living around the city of Philips for so many years and… shame on me! I never had been to the Philips museum.
I finally corrected that this october 2020. Actually, I don’t like museums much, but I must say this one is very well done and very pleasant to visit. Everything is written in both Dutch and English.
The museum is located in the city center of Eindhoven, exactly where the first light bulb was made by Gerard Philips in 1891. You will go through the enormous growth of the Company to become the world leader in consumer electronics, lighting and healthcare.
During these corona times, reservation is mandatory! it can be done online on their website: here.ย It feels super safe to visit! Always make sure you follow the country and museum regulations, check out government.nl .
Interesting. I don’t remember seeing any mention of this museum when I went to Eindhoven. Something for next time.
Ohhh well it depends, which year did you visit Eindhoven?
About 20 years ago when I lived in Luxembourg.
This current one opened in 2013… That explains…
OK, that will be for next time.
